At Farmingville United Church of Christ, we welcome both children and adults to the sacrament of baptism with water and the Holy Spirit. As this is important to the individual being baptized, so it is significant to us as a church-we welcome our new family member with joy. Baptism is a celebration and commitment to a new relationship. As a church, we express our support, care and love to the individuals being baptized and their families.
Baptisms are celebrated during our regular Sunday worship service.
Marking the forehead with water is the act of baptism. Parent(s), families and sponsors (or Godparents), are invited to come forward with the individual for the rite of baptism.

Weddings
We would like to accommodate, as much as possible, the celebration of your wedding to be a memorable event! For all couples who wish to be married in the context of Christian worship service, we at Congregational United Church of Christ of Farmingville invite you to consider our beautiful, historical church (established in 1948), as the special place where you celebrate the joining together of your lives as a married couple. Our pastor’s worship service is beautiful, and includes meaningful Christian prayers, scripture readings, music and blessings fitting of your special day.
Membership at Congregational United Church of Christ of Farmingville church is NOT a requirement to be married here.
In addition, our Church Hall is located on-site and may be used prior to the wedding for your dressing purposes.
For an additional fee, you may rent our Church Hall for your wedding reception of seventy-five guests or fewer.
