CHILDREN’S Sunday School

Thank you for your interest in our Children’s religious education program. Our Fall 2022 classes are underway!

What to Expect:

Twice monthly, we will have Children’s Sunday School sessions. On these dates, children will:

Join their caregiver and the congregation for the first 15 minutes of our 10 am Sunday Worship–and get the opportunity to participate in a Children’s Time chat and play a song using handbells. (This often is a highlight of our church service for children and adults, alike!)

Accompany the Sunday School teacher(s) downstairs to our beautiful classroom space.

Participate in a variety of activities related to the Sunday School session’s bible story topic (approximately 40 minutes total)

Rejoin parent/caregiver at the conclusion of the worship service.

Enrollment Information:

  • We’ve planned twenty engaging, child-centered, age-appropriate faith-filled sessions (approximately 30 minutes per session).
  • Our format uses a one-room school setting, which means siblings and cousins of different ages will have the opportunity to grow their Christian faith together.
  • a parent or guardian (e.g. grandparent or other close relative) of each child is required to attend Sunday worship on our Children’s Sunday School dates (See below for session dates). No drop-offs are allowed.
  • Parents and children are welcome to attend Sunday worship throughout the month, and to participate in our other church activities, as well (Worship is 10 am – 11 am.)
  • This program is funded by our church members and regular attendees, and as such, priority for enrollment is granted to children/relatives of church members and regular attendees prior to limited open enrollment for families new to our church and our Sunday School program.

October 9th, October 16th, November 6th, November 20th, December 4th, December 18th (Christmas Play), January 8th,January 15th, February 5th, February 12th, March 5th, March 19th, April 16th, April 23rd, May 7th, May 21st, June 2nd, and June 16th.
